Roger brings a technical background and a long-standing interest in history and the consequences of technological dependence to his fiction.
Roger Lee Navarre spent much of his professional career in computer science, co-founding a medical imaging company specializing in the display and transmission of medical images. Earlier, during his service in the United States Air Force, he worked as a newspaper editor, an experience that strengthened his lifelong love of writing.
Beyond technology, his enduring passion is genealogy. After years of historical research, he authored two books exploring the lives of his family’s ancestors: Grandpa’s Stories and The Chronos Connection.
Drawing on his Christian faith, technical background, and lifelong fascination with science fiction, Roger brings together hard science, enduring faith, and the resilience of the human spirit in The Awakening of New Hope, his first science-fiction novel.
